Job summary

Total Vision LLC in California is seeking an Optical Associate to help patients choose frames and lenses, verify benefits, and dispense glasses. You will guide patients through lens options including single vision, bifocal, and progressive styles, and manage after-sales support with fitting and adjustments.

Bi-lingual English/Spanish is required; strong customer service and teamwork are essential. Lab-related edging and repairs knowledge is preferred to support in-office workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–3 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Optical knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with proper frame and lens selection.
• Educate patients on options for clear lenses, sunglasses, and other needs.
• Verify patient insurance and explain benefits.
• Dispense glasses and explain adaptation to prescriptions and lens types.
