In this role you will assist patients with frame and lens selection, verify insurance benefits, dispense eyewear and ensure proper fit and measurements. You may support lab tasks and collaborate with staff to keep patients informed and satisfied.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–3 years related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
• Experience in optical or retail settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with proper frame and lens selection and educates on options.
• Verifies patient insurance and explains benefits; dispenses glasses and assists with adaptation.
• Helps patients with repairs and adjustments; ensures timely return calls and keeps patients informed.
• Supports lab tasks such as edging, finishing and surfacing when needed.
