Job summary

Total Vision LLC is a growing group of optometry practices focused on world-class eye-care results for patients in California. We are seeking a qualified professional to assist patients with frame and lens selection, educate on options, and ensure proper fit and measurements.

The role includes handling insurance benefits, dispensing glasses, and supporting lab duties as needed. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED with 2–3 years of related experience, strong customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 2–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with proper frame and lens selection.
• Educates patients on options for clear lenses, sunglasses, and other needs.
• Ensures proper fit and measurements for single vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses.
• Educates patients on benefits of multiple pairs of glasses.
• Verifies patient insurance and explains benefits.
• Dispenses glasses and discusses adaptation to new prescriptions.
• Helps patients with repairs and adjustments.
• Ensures phone calls are returned and inform patients of delays.
• Assists with other tasks in the office.
• Lab experience in edging, finishing and surfacing preferred.
