Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–3 years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with frame and lens selection.
• Educate patients on lens options and sunglasses.
• Ensure proper fit and measurements for lens types.
• Explain insurance benefits and process to patients.
• Dispense glasses and explain adaptation to prescriptions.
• Assist with repairs and adjustments.
• Ensure timely return of patient phone calls and communicate delays.
• Assist with other office tasks as needed.
• Lab experience in edging, finishing and surfacing preferred.
