Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in a related field.
• If Required by State: Optician license or certification by a national optician association.
• Working knowledge of MS Office package.

Responsibilities

• Determine the reason for the patient’s visit, identify lifestyle needs, and deliver eyewear recommendations following the optometrist’s prescription.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to attract/retain customers and promote patient satisfaction.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate measurements with the prescription.
• Recommend lenses, coatings, and frames to suit customer needs, occupations, and facial features.
• Take measurements, assist with adjustments, and dispense eyewear.
