Job summary

VSP Vision in Irvine, CA is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service / Optician Associate to help patients find eyewear matches. You will assist with frame and lens selections, take measurements, and provide clear, friendly service while coordinating with the optometrist’s prescription.

Responsibilities include guiding customers through frame choices, performing fittings, handling insurance billing and orders, and maintaining accurate patient records in the practice software.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Determine patient needs and recommend eyewear solutions based on prescription.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to attract and retain customers.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate measurements with prescriptions.
• Suggest lenses, coatings, and frames tailored to lifestyle and facial features.
• Take measurements, aid in adjustments, and dispense eyewear.
• Provide accurate pricing and delivery time quotes to patients.
• Document all interactions in the practice software system.
