Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant in Maryland to support patients with personalized eyecare. You will work with trusted doctors and teams to help patients see, look, and be their best. No optical experience is required, as training and tools will be provided to learn about the industry and deliver a best-in-class experience.

The role emphasizes customer service, sales goals, and collaboration with office staff. Some weekend and evenings shifts are required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales related position (Retail, Hospitality or Optical field preferred, but not required).
• Willing to learn about industry, product, and services.
• Ability to sell with a desire to meet office goals with a “can do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising the patient’s needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection process by using knowledge of product lines and options to educate patients on best fit.
• Consistently deliver sales plan and office goals through cultivating a patient experience built on relationship and trust.
• Provide patients with comprehensive explanation of insurance benefits.
• Utilize training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from a wide selection of eyewear.
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team members to provide seamless patient experience.
• Participate in other office duties as assigned.
