Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant in Maryland to provide personalized eyecare and support our doctors and teams.

No optical experience is required as training and tools are provided to learn about the industry and deliver a best-in-class patient experience. You will guide patients through eyewear selection, explain insurance benefits, and help achieve office goals while maintaining a high level of service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing or sales role is preferred.
• Proactive problem solving with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Willing to learn about industry, products, and services.
• Ability to sell with a goal-oriented attitude.
• Friendly, patient-centric team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising their needs
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection using knowledge of product lines
• Consistently deliver sales plan and office goals through cultivating a patient experience built on trust
• Provide patients with comprehensive explanation of insurance benefits
• Utilize training to fit, measure, and adjust eyewear from wide selection
• Complete optometric tasks in partnership with Office Optometrist to serve patient
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team for seamless patient experience
• Communicate and demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy
• Participate in other office duties as assigned
