Job summary

MyEyeDr. is hiring an Eyewear Consultant in Cary, NC to support doctors and teams in delivering a best-in-class patient experience. No optical experience? Training will be provided to learn about products and services while helping patients select frames and lenses.

You will learn to explain insurance benefits, meet office goals, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure excellent visits. Weekend and evening shifts may be required as part of the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing or sales related position is helpful.
• Willing to learn about industry, product, and services.
• Proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude.
• Friendly, patient-centric team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising their needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection using knowledge of products to educate on best fit.
• Consistently deliver sales plan and office goals through creating a strong patient experience.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients clearly and accurately.
• Use training to fit, measure, and adjust eyewear from our eyewear selection.
• Collaborate with Office Optometrist to support patient needs and lens/frame choices.
• Work with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy with patients.
