Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant to provide personalized eyecare by supporting doctors and teams who help patients see, look, and be their best. No optical experience? Training and tools are provided to learn the industry and deliver a best-in-class experience.

The role reports to the Office General Manager with some weekend and evening shifts required. You will assist patients in selecting eyewear, explain insurance benefits, and contribute to a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing or sales role is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn about industry and products.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising the patient’s needs
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection process by using knowledge of product lines and options to educate patients on best fit
• Consistently deliver sales plan and office goals through cultivating a patient experience built on relationship and trust
• Provide patients with comprehensive explanation of insurance benefits
• Utilize training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from our wide selection of eyewear
• Collaborate with office staff and Optometrist to best serve the patient and their selected lenses or frames
• Communicate and demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy while working with patients
• Participate in other office duties as assigned
