Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant in Wilmington, NC to provide personalized eyecare and assist patients in selecting eyewear. No prior optical experience required as full training will be provided.

You will work with doctors and teams to ensure a best-in-class patient experience, help meet sales goals, and support with insurance explanations and eyewear fittings. Weekend and evening shifts are required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales role preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn about eyewear products and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and understand patient needs.
• Assist with eyewear/frame/lens selection using product knowledge.
• Help achieve office goals by delivering a positive patient experience built on trust.
• Explain insurance benefits and help patients understand options.
• Assist in fitting, measuring, and adjusting eyeglasses under supervision.
