Job summary

MyEyeDr. is hiring an Eyewear Consultant to support doctors and teams in delivering personalized eyecare. No optical experience is required as training and tools are provided to learn about products, fittings, and insurance explanations.

This role involves weekend/evening shifts and a patient-centric, fast-paced environment. You will help patients choose eyewear, explain benefits, and contribute to a high-quality vision care experience in our Virginia offices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales related position is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates proactive problem solving and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Willing to learn about industry, product, and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear selection with knowledge of products and options.
• Achieve sales plans and office goals through relationship-based experiences.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients comprehensively.
• Use training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from a wide eyewear range.
• Collaborate with Office Optometrist to support lenses and frames choices.
• Work with doctors and team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
