Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Assistant Manager to act as a leader in the absence of the Store Manager and behave as a business owner within the marketplace. Represent LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision needs and deliver key performance metrics.

Responsibilities include developing the team, delivering timely feedback, executing visual directives, maintaining store appearance, and working a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Must have a strong command of the English language for all written correspondence & oral communication.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• Demonstrated high-level selling skills.
• Proven ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality and improvement to exceed KPIs: comp sales, conversion, and customer count.
• Partners with Store Manager to lead and develop team.
• Executes visual directives and maintains store appearance.
• Maintains positive working relationships with doctors and promotes policy compliance.
• Performs administrative duties and works a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
