Job summary

LensCrafters, a prominent eye care retailer, seeks an Assistant Manager to lead in the store in the absence of the Store Manager and act as a business owner within the LensCrafters organization. You will help drive key performance metrics and ensure exceptional customer experiences in a busy optical environment.

The role requires at least a high school education and 1+ year of supervisory experience, strong math skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Must have a strong command of the English language for written correspondence & oral communication.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• Demonstrated high-level selling skills.
• Proven ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality and improvement to exceed KPIs: Comp Sales, % Sales to Plan, Conversion, Customer Count, Growth, Traffic, Store Profitability, Retention goals, NPS.
• Translates retail knowledge into positive sales and market understanding.
• Supports store business plans to maximize sales and profit.
• Leads and develops team with store manager.
• Provides constructive feedback and drives development with the manager.
• Executes visual directives and maintains store appearance.
• Maintains positive relationships with doctors and staff.
• Ensures policy compliance and handles administrative duties.
• Works a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
