Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store performance and drive exceptional customer care. You will partner with the Store Manager to coach staff, execute sales strategies, and maintain store standards, including visual presentation and policy compliance.

The role requires solid retail experience, strong communication, and a flexible schedule to cover nights and weekends. This is an on-site, leadership position within a fast-paced eye-care environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year of management or supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes and policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers and calculators.
• Strong command of English language for written and oral communication.
• Strong selling skills.
• Proven problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality and improvement to exceed KPIs including sales, conversion, and customer count.
• Understands retail business and market dynamics to drive sales and results.
• Supports store plans to maximize sales and profit.
• Partners with Store Manager to lead and develop the team.
• Delivers timely feedback and supports staff development.
• Executes visual directives and maintains store appearance.
• Maintains positive relationships with doctors.
• Promotes policy compliance and handles administrative duties.
• Works a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
