Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is hiring a Customer Service Representative (Order Clerk) to manage customer and lab requests, quotes, orders, and returns. You will coordinate with departments to deliver excellent service and maintain accurate records.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multi-tasking, and adherence to company policies, with opportunities for training and growth within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of customer service/call center experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and composure in difficult situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Handle requests for price quotes, orders, changes, adjustments, and cancellations from customers and labs.
• Build rapport with customers and provide excellent service.
• Receive, sort, repack and return overstock/defective items per policy; document returns.
• Assist in assembling and packaging frames for monthly auto-kit mailings and maintain customer lists.
• Use a PC to retrieve customer information, stock status, and update orders; ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate with vendors for order status and follow up on quotations and deliveries.
• Follow company policies, HIPAA protections, and maintain confidentiality.
