Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Distribution Clerk (Inventory and Lens Order) to accurately enter material orders and select products for Rx and stock orders. You will support lab processing and ensure timely data entry for vendor transmissions.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic laptop/10-key skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with opportunities for training and growth within a long-standing optical distribution team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of experience working in a distribution/logistics environment.
• Basic use of laptop, keyboard and 10-key typing.
• High attention to detail.
• Good reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Key lens and/or frame purchase order requirements into computer for electronic transmission to vendors.
• Retrieve products from inventories for Rx/stock processing.
• Interpret reports on inventory levels, purchase orders, and fill rates.
• Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
