Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in related field.
• Applicable State licensure or certification as an optician (if required).
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine the reason for the patient’s visit and deliver eyewear recommendations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to attract and retain customers.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate measurements and prescription.
• Recommend lenses, coatings, and frames based on needs and lifestyle.
• Take measurements and assist with adjustments and dispensing eyewear.
• Ensure accurate pricing and realistic delivery quotes to patients.
• Provide enthusiastic, concise communication to meet patient expectations and collaborate with team.
• Merchandise displays and maintain cleanliness of showroom daily.
• Assist with insurance billing and processing orders.
• Document patient communication in the practice software system.
