Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant to support trusted doctors and knowledgeable teams in delivering personalized eyecare. No optical experience is required, as training and tools will be provided to help you learn about eyewear and patient-focused service.

Some weekend and evening shifts are required as part of the role. You will assist patients in choosing eyewear, explain insurance benefits, and work with the team to achieve sales and patient care goals while growing your career in a

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales related position is preferred but not required.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Willing to learn about the eyewear industry, product and services.
• Ability to sell with a desire to meet office goals and maintain a positive attitude.
• Friendly, caring and patient-centric demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising their needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection using knowledge of products and options.
• Deliver sales plans and office goals through a positive patient experience built on relationships and trust.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients clearly and comprehensively.
• Utilize training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from a wide selection of eyewear.
• Collaborate with the Office Optometrist to serve patients’ lens or frame choices.
• Work with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
