Job summary

National Vision’s America’s Best brand is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead the eyeglass department and drive sales while ensuring high customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and aligning store activities with company policies to deliver a superior eyewear experience.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with prior optical sales and supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in reading and speaking English and Spanish.
• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (reviewing P&L).
• Oversee eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure associates do the same.
• Ensure quality standards; review remakes and enforce policies.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager and Corporate Office; provide store reporting.
• Manage promotions, advertising and visual merchandising; ensure staff awareness of promotions.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates; ensure day-to-day tasks are completed.
• Assist with staffing forecasts, recruiting and retaining strong staff.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
