Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is hiring an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead the eyeglass department and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish skills, optical sales background, and experience supervising teams. You will manage operations, promotions, and reporting, partnering with leadership to forecast staffing and develop a high-caliber staff.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading and speaking English and Spanish.
• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for team management.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to review financials and reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (e.g., review P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure the team does the same.
• Ensure quality standards; review remakes and enforce policies.
• Coordinate store reporting with GM, DM, and Corporate Office.
• Ensure promotions/advertising/merchandising are in place and team informed.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates; ensure daily tasks are done.
• Assist GM with forecasting staffing needs and recruiting high-caliber staff.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
