America's Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager in Texas to lead daily store operations and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

You'll oversee the eyeglass department, coach a diverse team, manage promotions, and ensure compliance with policies while driving sales and profitability. This role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and a focus on store performance.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading and speaking English and Spanish.
• Experience in optical sales; supervising experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Solid understanding of store operations and success standards.
• Strong communication skills for team management.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Ability to analyze and understand financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide top-tier customer service and mentor staff to do the same.
• Review remakes and enforce quality standards.
• Report store performance to General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate.
• Coordinate promotions, advertising and visual merchandising with staff and doctors.
• Supervise Opticians and Sales associates and ensure daily tasks are completed.
• Forecast staffing needs and assist in recruiting and retaining strong staff.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
• Note: some locations require licensed staff per local laws.
