Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee daily store operations, supervise staff, and manage eyeglass inventory to drive performance.

You’ll work with store leadership to achieve profit and sales goals, maintain high service standards, coordinate promotions and communications, and mentor opticians and sales associates for top results.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and build relations.
• Understanding of store operations and success metrics.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze and understand financial reports.
• Problem-solving skills with varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (P&L).
• Oversee eyeglass department efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and lead by example.
• Review remakes and enforce quality standards.
• Communicate with General Manager and corporate office; provide store reporting.
• Oversee promotions, advertising and visual merchandising.
• Supervise and motivate staff; ensure daily tasks completed.
• Assist with staffing forecasts, recruiting and retention.
