MyEyeDr in Chicago is seeking an Eyewear Consultant to provide personalized eyecare and support a trusted network of doctors and teams. No optical experience? Training and tools will be provided to learn the industry and deliver a best-in-class patient experience.

Some weekend and evening shifts are required. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, eyewear selection guidance, and clear explanations of insurance benefits while supporting the office to meet sales goals in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales role preferred.
• Willing to learn about industry, products, and services.
• Proactive with problem-solving and goal orientation.
• Friendly, caring, and patient-centric team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service and understand their needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection by educating on options.
• Achieve sales plan and office goals through creating a positive patient experience.
• Explain insurance benefits comprehensively to patients.
• Use training to fit, measure, and adjust eyewear from available options.
• Collaborate with Office Optometrist to serve patients and lenses/frames.
• Work with doctors and team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy to patients.
• Participate in other office duties as assigned.
