Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant in Mount Pleasant, SC to provide personalized eyecare support, assist in frame and lens selection, and help patients understand insurance benefits. Training will be provided, and some weekend/evening shifts are required to meet patient needs.

You will join a team focused on delivering a best-in-class patient experience, collaborating with doctors and staff to ensure accurate fittings and a friendly, patient-centric environment. No optical experience?

Qualifications

• Customer-facing or sales experience preferred but not required.
• Proactive problem solving with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Willing to learn about industry, product, and services.
• Ability to sell with a can-do attitude while meeting office goals.
• Friendly, caring, and patient-centric team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising the patient’s needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection by knowledge of product lines and options to educate on best fit.
• Consistently deliver sales plan and office goals through relationship-building and trust.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients comprehensively.
• Fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses using company-provided training and a wide eyewear selection.
• Collaborate with Office Optometrist to serve patient and lens/frame choices.
• Work with doctors and team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Communicate and exemplify MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy with patients.
• Participate in other office duties as assigned.
