Job summary

MyEyeDr. is hiring an Eyewear Consultant to provide personalized eyecare and guide patients through eyewear choices while supporting a team of doctors and staff in a fast-paced clinic environment.

No optical experience? Training is provided, and you will learn about a growing vision care brand focused on helping patients see and live their best lives. Some weekend/evening shifts required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales related position (Retail, Hospitality or Optical field preferred).
• A proactive approach to problem solving with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Willing to learn about industry, product, and services.
• Ability to sell with a desire to meet office goals with a “can do” attitude.
• Friendly, caring, and patient-centric person who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player who is willing to collaborate to provide the best patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising the patient’s needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection with knowledge of products to educate on best fit.
• Deliver sales plan and office goals through building a patient relationship and trust.
• Explain insurance benefits comprehensively to patients.
• Use training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from a wide eyewear selection.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide seamless patient experience.
• Communicate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy to patients.
• Participate in other office duties as assigned.
