Job summary

Topcon Healthcare is seeking a Product Manager to lead the commercial strategy and lifecycle for the refraction portfolio. The role will translate product strategy into market execution and ensure alignment across sales, marketing, clinical, and service teams.

You will drive market insight, messaging, launches, and field enablement while collaborating with R&D on new developments and regulatory considerations. Occasional travel to major conferences is expected in support of market strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in eyecare, specifically refraction.
• Clinical experience or exposure to healthcare/medical device markets.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows in ophthalmology or optometry.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple products on different timelines.
• Travel up to 40% including major trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Lead market insight activities by collecting feedback from KOLs, customers, and stakeholders.
• Develop differentiated product messaging and value propositions for target segments.
• Oversee product launches with cross-functional readiness across sales, service, and marketing.
• Create training programs and collateral to support field effectiveness.
• Monitor product performance and collaborate with QA/RA and service teams on issues.
• Draft product requirements and manage lifecycle including updates and end-of-life planning.
