Job summary

Topcon Healthcare is seeking a Product Manager to lead the commercial strategy and lifecycle for the refraction portfolio, translating product strategy into market execution and aligning sales, marketing, clinical, and service teams.

You will own downstream launch readiness, cross‑functional collaboration, and post‑market feedback loops, ensuring strong product adoption across North America with multi‑site work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in eyecare, specifically refraction.
• Clinical experience or exposure to healthcare/medical device markets.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows in ophthalmology or optometry.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple products on different timelines.
• Travel up to 40% including some weekends to attend trade shows such as Vision Expo, Academies of Optometry and Ophthalmology, ARVO, etc.

Responsibilities

• Collect and translate market feedback from key stakeholders.
• Develop product messaging and value propositions by customer segment.
• Lead product launches and cross‑functional readiness across sales, service, and marketing.
• Collaborate with sales, CAS, and field teams to drive adoption and revenue.
• Create training programs and collateral for field enablement.
• Participate in conferences, demos, and key account discussions as a product expert.
• Monitor product performance and address feedback with QA/RA and service teams.
• Support lifecycle management from development to end‑of‑life planning.
