Job summary

LensCrafters seeks an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience, ensuring top-quality optometric care and seamless links between doctor and retail functions.

You will greet customers, explain paperwork, assist with frames and lenses, perform pre-exam testing, and maintain patient records in a HIPAA-compliant environment while promoting product knowledge and outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly.
• Explain all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions carefully and coordinate with Optician/Doctor or Retail Management when necessary.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses for vision, lifestyle and budget.
• Perform pre-examination testing with accuracy and detail; explain measurements.
• Provide coaching on contact lens care and handling.
• Maintain and disinfect inventory; support the Optometrist as needed.
• Operate POS and handle payments, including insurance and coupons.
• Ensure store displays align with brand guidelines and keep the environment safe.
