Job summary

LensCrafters in San Diego seeks an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality optometric care. You will drive store performance by focusing on patient-centered service and accurate information.

As a part-time team member, you will greet customers, explain tests and products, assist with frame and lens selections, operate the POS, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while upholding company standards and visual guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office/store merchandise.
• Previous experience in customer service/retail/optical (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within 30 seconds.
• Answer the telephone within 3 rings.
• Explain all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; consult with Optician/Managing Doctor when needed.
• Demonstrate patience with indecisive customers and resolve issues quickly.
• Operate the POS system and handle payments securely.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records.
• Assist with contact lens orders and shipments.
• Keep store displays aligned with guidelines.
