Job summary

LensCrafters in Maryland is seeking a Part-Time EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will assist customers, explain products and services, and coordinate with optometrists and retail staff to ensure exceptional patient care.

The role emphasizes greeting customers promptly, mindful listening, and accurate handling of prescriptions, payments, and records in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organizational skills.
• Sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers quickly (within 30 seconds).
• Answers telephone promptly (3 rings) in a friendly manner.
• Explains paperwork, tests, products and services to customers.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information; consults with Optician/Managing Doctor as needed.
• Maintains accurate patient records per HIPAA.
