Job summary

Target Optical in Phoenix is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality eye care for every patient.

You will assist the optometrist during examinations, prepare patients, review prescriptions, manage patient records per HIPAA, and help link doctor and retail functions while maintaining an organized, welcoming environment. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced store setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; identify special needs.
• Handle and file patient records in accordance with HIPAA.
• Support retention and exams including call backs and confirmations.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of exam rooms and contact lens area.
