Job summary

Total Vision LLC is hiring for a Full Time- hourly position at TV RSM in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. The candidate will assist with patient intake, pretesting, and clerical tasks in a fast-paced optometry setting.

Responsibilities include patient greetings, medical history relay, and support for examinations. Prior ophthalmic experience is a plus; strong communication and multi-tasking are essential. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience in Ophthalmic/Optometric/medical industry is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guide them to pretesting.
• Handle administrative duties: phone, scheduling, messaging.
• Perform pretesting (blood pressure, NCT, color & stereo, autoperimetry).
• Advocate for overall health evaluation (Optomap).
• Relate health/ocular history to the doctor.
• Train on contact lens insertion/removal.
• Order contact lenses as needed.
• Maintain equipment and doctor’s lanes.
• Restock pretest/doctor supplies.
