Job summary

LensCrafters in Tallahassee is hiring an Optometric Technician to deliver exceptional patient care and support the exam process. You will assist the optometrist, handle patient history and preparation, and ensure accurate documentation.

Role requires strong customer service and communication, multitasking ability, and familiarity with office workflows. Retail/healthcare experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth and benefits with EssilorLuxottica family.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills (internal/external).
• Excellent communication and listening abilities.
• Problem solving and multitasking in fast-paced environments.

• Knowledge of office environment and basic math skills.
• Retail and healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a friendly, professional image.

• Review prescriptions and manage patient information for accuracy.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and organized filing systems.
• Support inventory and maintain contact lens room and equipment.
