Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience by supporting the optometrist during exams and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting. You will maintain patient records, manage scheduling and inventory, handle contact lens orders, and uphold HIPAA standards while providing friendly, professional service to our customers in Tallahassee.

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile.
• Answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist in eye examinations; prepare patients and take medical history.
• Review prescriptions and patient information; identify special needs.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Support retention of exams via calls and reminders.
• Place contact lens trial orders and manage contact lens room.
• Input patient data and eyewear services in CIAO system with accuracy.
