Job summary

LensCrafters in Santa Clara is hiring a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and oversee key optical and lab processes. The role supports store success with accurate product knowledge and leadership, including acting as an alternate store key holder.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with selections, leading sales teams, training staff, and ensuring eyewear meets standards. Strong optics knowledge and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong optical & retail knowledge is essential.
• Solid communication skills and active listening.
• Leadership and training experience is expected.
• Excellent customer service and sales abilities are required.
• Proven problem solving and math skills.
• Familiar with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Experience in edging and mounting lenses is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic optics and lens measurement is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and support to patients and customers.
• Assist in store and lab processes to achieve store success.
• Guide customers in selections and provide recommendations.
• Operate as an alternate store key holder when needed.
• In lab roles, perform edging, fitting and ensuring optical quality.
• Maintain safe lab/work environment and hope for equipment upkeep.
