Tidewater Eye Centers is seeking a Surgical Coordinator to manage the scheduling and financial communication for ophthalmic procedures across Chesapeake and satellite locations. You will ensure pre-op education, coordinate appointments, and assist with insurance verification and cost discussions.

The role requires reliable transportation for multi-location duties, travel between offices, and a commitment to providing patient-centered service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgeries and educate patients pre-op.
• Coordinate pre-op appointments and communicate with facilities.
• Review patient charts for insurance benefits and prepare cost summaries.
• Counsel patients on Physician Fee and Eye Surgery Center.
• Follow up on surgery payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
