Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience in financial counseling is preferred.
• Experience working with insurance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgery and educate patients pre-surgery and coordinate with facilities.
• Arrange pre-op appointments with patients and caregivers.
• Review charts for insurance benefits and prepare cost summaries.
• Counsel patients regarding Physician Fee and Eye Surgery Center finances.
• Follow up on and collect surgery payments.
• Other duties as assigned.
