Job summary

Cataract & Laser Institute is seeking a Scribe to support physicians in the clinic by transcribing data into the patient medical record during exams and assisting with administrative tasks.

The role involves aiding technicians, coordinating patient flow, preparing exam rooms, and maintaining supplies. No prior experience is required; training is provided to develop skills for patient care and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in EHR and keyboarding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into the patient medical record during exams as directed.
• Assist doctors and technicians with patient procedures and testing.
• Escort patients and coordinate scheduling and flow in the office.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain inventory of supplies and medications.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
