Job summary

Laser Institute in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Scribe to support doctors by transcribing data into patient records during exams and by assisting technicians with administrative and clinical tasks. You will help gather histories, schedule patients, and prepare the exam room.

The role requires strong EHR skills, detail orientation, and excellent communication. On-site position with competitive wage and benefits offered by Laser Institute.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in optometry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into EHR during patient exams.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with procedures.
• Guide patients to Optical and introduce to the Optician.
• Coordinate scheduling and monitor patient flow.
• Prepare exam room and maintain supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment.
• Travel to support other offices as needed.
