Job summary

Ephraim McDowell Health, Inc. seeks a Practice Manager I for the Eye and Vision Center.

This full-time, 1st shift role directs the clinic’s business, technical, financial, clerical and nursing support, and partners with the Director of Practice Management to oversee operations and service delivery. You will supervise physician practice activities including scheduling, patient throughput, and billing coordination, while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years healthcare experience in ambulatory practice.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s in Business/Healthcare Administration preferred.
• In lieu of Associate degree, two years ambulatory healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct business, technical, financial, clerical and nursing support of the clinic.
• Oversee operations, revenue cycle, human resources, planning and development.
• Supervise physician practice activities including scheduling and billing coordination.
• Maintain service excellence and coordinate with other departments.
