Job summary

AEG Vision seeks a Practice Manager to lead and develop the on-site team, deliver exceptional patient care, and drive meaningful business results.

You will partner with the Optometrist and field leadership to align operations, service standards, and performance goals, while coaching staff and optimizing patient flow.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or a comparable service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eyecare or optical practice leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold team members accountable.
• Ability to analyze reports, trends, and performance data.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, and labor planning.
• Serve as the primary on-site floor leader for team alignment and patient needs.
• Establish expectations for staff and ensure understanding of priorities and standards.
• Partner with the Optometrist to support exam flow and service offerings.
• Coach and develop team members, recognizing performance and accountability.
• Support new hire development, training, and technology adoption.
• Monitor patient feedback and service trends to improve experience.
• Review results to identify performance gaps and opportunities.
• Collaborate with district leadership on sales, profitability, and growth.
