Qualifications

• Optical experience or 2+ years in retail management/supervisory role.
• Strong operations understanding and business acumen.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Able to set, monitor and achieve productivity goals.
• Strong problem solving, judgment and attention to detail.
• Understanding of optometric processes and strategic development.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Opticians, Technicians, and staff.
• Collaborate with Lead OD to ensure exceptional patient experience.
• Lead staff performance, coaching and development.
• Serve as a role model to the team.
• Work with ODs to ensure patient care and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain customer service standards with patients.
• Monitor operations and provide on-the-job training and support.
• Analyze practice financial data and advise on profitability.
• Recruit and select high-caliber talent.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate billing.
• Oversee product management, inventory, and cost of goods.
• Conduct staff evaluations and trainings.
