Job summary

AEG Vision in Texas is seeking a Practice Manager to lead the on-site team, deliver exceptional patient care, and drive business results. You will develop people, align with providers, and ensure a patient-centered, high-performing practice environment.

You will collaborate with the Optometrist and leadership to optimize exam flow, service delivery, and operational efficiency while guiding teams through evolving systems and digital workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or a comparable service environment.
• Strong communication, coaching, observation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to analyze reports, trends, business gaps, patient feedback, and performance data.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, labor planning, service execution, and operational consistency across the practice.
• Serve as the primary on-site floor leader, supporting team alignment, patient needs, service recovery, and real-time priorities.
• Establish clear expectations for staff and ensure understanding of priorities, roles, patient care standards, and goals.
• Partner with the Optometrist to support exam flow, clinical support expectations, and evolving service offerings.
• Lead, coach, develop, recognize, and hold team members accountable for performance and patient care standards.
• Support new hire development, ongoing training, and adoption of systems and AI-enabled tools.
• Reinforce exceptional patient service behaviors and monitor feedback and trends.
