Job summary

AEG Vision in Springfield, MA is seeking a Licensed Assistant Practice Manager to support the Practice Manager, deliver excellent patient care, and drive business results on the practice floor. This role emphasizes leadership development, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will learn multiple practice functions such as patient care coordination, optical sales, and front desk operations, while maintaining patient-centered service and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Dispensing Optician in MA.
• Extensive dispensing experience required.
• Experience in optical/eye-care or healthcare service operations.
• 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organization in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily practice operations and patient flow.
• Assist on the practice floor across multiple functions.
• Coordinate patient care, optical sales, and technician support.
• Help with onboarding, coaching, and team development.
• Serve as point of contact in Practice Manager's absence.
• Learn and support assigned responsibilities per practice needs.
