Job summary

AEG Vision in Raytown, MO, is seeking a Practice Manager to inspire and support the team, deliver exceptional patient care, and drive meaningful business results in a fast-paced optical environment.

You will lead on-site operations, coordinate patient flow, coach staff, align with the Optometrist and district leadership, and ensure service excellence and operational efficiency while embracing new systems and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or comparable service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; management education preferred.
• Eyecare or optical practice leadership experience preferred.
• Optician certification preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, develop and hold team members accountable.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, and service execution.
• Serve as primary on-site floor leader supporting team alignment and patient needs.
• Partner with Optometrist to support exam flow and evolving services.
• Coach, develop, and hold staff to performance and care standards.
• Learn and adopt practice systems, software updates, and AI-enabled tools.
