Job summary

Discover Vision Centers is seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead our Lee’s Summit clinic. This role suits a motivated healthcare leader who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about building strong teams while delivering an excellent patient experience.

You will oversee daily clinic operations, supervise staff, manage workflows, and ensure high-quality patient care, while fostering a positive, compliant, and patient-centric culture.

Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework or an Associate’s degree preferred
• Three to five years of leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Paylocity, and NextGen (EMR) preferred
• Ability to lead teams while maintaining a patient-focused culture

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow and service quality
• Supervise and support all staff at the assigned location
• Monitor staffing needs, scheduling, and workflows
• Evaluate and maintain the quality of patient care and service delivery
• Ensure department policies and procedures are followed and maintained
• Train and onboard new front office team members
• Address patient inquiries related to appointments, insurance, and payments
• Manage employee performance evaluations and provide coaching for team members
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
• Collaborate with leadership to support goals and continuous improvement
