Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Business Development Representative to cover the Chicago area, focusing on Eye Care Provider accounts and Direct Rx growth. You will source, develop, and cultivate new clients, and use consultative selling to promote ZEISS products and solutions.

The role requires travel within the territory and strong relationship-building with eye care professionals. You will work under the Regional Business Development Manager, documenting activity in CRM and supporting national

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Business, Public Administration, Economics, Marketing or related field strongly preferred.
• 3+ years in a successful B2B sales environment, preferably Rx, optical or medical device industries.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales growth targets for Direct Rx and related programs.
• Segment territory using CRM and identify key customer targets.
• Profile stores and develop value-based sales strategies with positive financial impact.
• Lead sales conversations with ECPs and close the deal.
• Create and execute territory plans and manage customer marketing programs.
• Input timely reports via Salesforce and manage travel costs.
