Wolfe Eye Clinic in Marshalltown, IA is seeking a full-time Appointment Scheduling Agent to join our patient-focused team. You will answer calls, schedule appointments, gather demographics, and maintain patient records in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Previous call center or medical office experience is required. The role offers weekday hours and a collaborative, patient-first atmosphere at a long-trusted Iowa clinic.

Formación

• Experience in a call center or medical office required.
• Ability to enter information into a variety of computer programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment.
• Mon-Fri 7:30AM–5:30PM.

Responsabilidades

• Answering telephone calls in a clear professional manner.
• Directing telephone calls accordingly.
• Making, canceling and rescheduling patient appointments.
• Gathering, verifying and entering demographic information.
• Opening and/or closing the clinic according to scheduled rotation.
• Maintaining patient records according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Interacting with co-workers, physicians and patients.
• Performing other duties as needed.
