Job summary

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, seeks energetic Outside Sales Representatives to sell residential and commercial materials to contractor customers. You will build new relationships, train customers, and deliver world-class service while leveraging exclusive sales tools and a generous commission structure.

Requires a college degree or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• College degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; pass MVR check and vehicle insurance meets company requirements.
• Preferred knowledge of building products and contractor processes.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships with contractor customers.
• Utilize sales reports to recognize opportunities in customer buying patterns.
• Make cold calls and schedule appointments with prospective customers.
• Follow up with customers and provide solutions for service concerns.
• Provide training to customers on product lines and services.
• Assist customers in credit application process and collect past due payments.
